Burlington, WA – Officers with the City of Burlington Police Department responded to reports of an Armed Robbery in Progress in the parking lot of the Burlington Fred Meyer store located at 920 S. Burlington Boulevard in Burlington, Washington at 10:08 a.m. on November 25th, 2022.
According to reports, a young male subject with a gun, exited his vehicle and yelled at a female employee walking in the Fred Meyer parking lot to give him her purse. ” The woman handed over her cell phone, which was in a wallet case with her credit card, ID and building access card in it, before the subject fled. The woman said the male was showing a gun and that the incident happened so fast she didn’t get a good look at him or what he was driving as she was focused on the gun.
