Burlington Boulevard Construction Update for the week of September 22nd:

Burlington, WA, 09/23/14: Tiger Construction and Sail Electric continue roadway work along Burlington Boulevard. For the week of September 22, roadway safety improvements include electrical upgrades. Final paving has been scheduled for the week of October 6th.

Work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 6:00AM and 4:00 PM and all lanes will reopen to all traffic at the end of the work day. For safety, the speed limit has been temporarily reduced to 25mph. One or more of the accesses into the Cascade Mall will be open at all times. Cascade Mall and local businesses are open! Please use alternate routes.

This traffic project will improve mobility, safety, and reduce congestion along Burlington Boulevard. Work includes channelization improvements, new traffic signal controllers, development of traffic signal timing plans, upgraded system detection & surveillance, and installation of a “state of the art” traffic management system.
