Fatality Accident: East SR290-Spokane

Spokane, WA: October 8th, 2014. The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatality accident on State Route 290, just East of Campbell Road at Milepost 13.8.  Arriving troopers found a red, 1996 Subaru Impreza, driven by 19 year old, Michael Corder, of Spokane was traveling west on SR290 and  had crossed the center line and struck an Eastbound  2012 Freight-liner boom truck, driven by Cory Beckham, 37, of Spokane.  Bext of kin was notified by the Spokane County Chaplin. The Subaru was impounded by Outback Towing. The Freight-liner was towed by Rouses Valley Towing. The cause of the crash is listed as “over center line” and no charges are pending.
