JCPenney Closing 40 Stores in 19 states

The Huffington Post is reporting that JCPenney plans to close approximately 40 stores in 19 states in 2015.   The closures will affect about 2,250 jobs.   The 40 stores represent about 4 percent of the chain’s total stores, the company spokesman, Joey Thomas said. Most stores will close around April 4, 2015, he said.
