Driver Injured in Early Morning Crash

Birdsview, WA: Firefighters from The  Birdsview and Grassmere  Fire Departments along with Medic 7,  were dispatched  to a serious injury motor vehicle accident around 5:30 am this morning on  Cape Horn Road near  Razar State Park.

Arriving units found a pickup had ran into a tree. A male subject, self extricated and was reported to have leg and head injuries.

(Responding Birdsview Fire Units had the Grassmere Fire Department Stand down.)

Medic 7 Requested Airlift Northwest from The Arlington Airport to Fly the patient due to the severity of his  injuries.

Airlift Northwest Responded to the Landing Zone at  Cape Horn Road and SR20 to pick up the patient.
