South Skagit Highway Will Close for 40 Days

Road-Closed-File PhotoSKAGIT COUNTY – The South Skagit Highway will be closed for approximately 40 days beginning on or about May 20, 2015 through June 30, 2015. The closure will begin at milepost 1.78 and end at milepost 4.70.

This closure is to allow the Skagit Public Utility District to repair a waterline break that feeds the City of Sedro-Woolley. Citizens are invited to contact Skagit Public Utility District at 360-424-7104 for more information about the project.

A detour route will be provided via Old Day Creek Road to SR 9. Please plan accordingly for added travel time the detour route may cause.
