After we received reports of a rollover accident and posted it to our social media, we were given a lot of information and photos too. The accident was just west of Sims Road on Highway 20 outside of Sedro Woolley.
We learned that a school van, from Sedro Woolley School District, was one of the vehicles involved and a Black Dodge Ram 1500.
Reports were that all involved seemed to be doing ok and even walking around right after they got out of their vehicles.

scene when it happened and posted this statement on our social media page. ” I gave my report and helped out. Basically the black dodge looked like he was passing, and collided with the sedro Woolley School District van. Van rolled. Helped two women and a special needs child get out. The driver of the dodge seemed to not be sober and was under investigation of possible DUI. Everyone seemed to be ok. Glad that swamp wasn’t full of water like it normally is or we would have been dealing with drowning people as they had a hard time getting out.”
We are glad that there were no serious injuries reported. It is hard to imagine someone with special needs needing to get out of a van that is upside down. Luckily everyone helped out and it sounds like first responders arrived very quickly.
