Skagit County Police Blotter for August 14th

Skagit Breaking Police BlotterSedro Woolley, WA: The Sedro Woolley Fire Department and medics from Skagit EMS,  responded to reports of a accidental shooting in the 9500 block of Whatcom Lane in Sedro Woolley around 6:15 am on August 14th.

According to scanner radio traffic, a teenage  male was accidentally shot.

Fire and Emergency Medical units in the area staged until Officers from the Sedro Woolley Police Department secured the scene.

The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene as well.

Additional details were not available on the patients condition.

Officers ran several gun serial numbers and at least one came back as stolen out of Bellingham.

Mount Vernon, WA:  Officers from the Mount Vernon Police Department responded to reports of a robbery in the 500 block of East College Way just after 5 pm on August 14th.

Mount Vernon, WA:  Officers from the Mount Vernon Police Department responded to a weapons offense in the 500 block of Ruby Peak Avenue just after 8:00 am on August 14th.  10-15  Shots were heard in the area.

 

Law Enforcement agencies from around Skagit County Responded to 238 Incidents or calls for service between 10:00:00 08/13/15 and 10:00:00 08/14/15.  These were just a couple samples of some of their calls. 

Skagit County Fire and EMS responded to 106 Incidents or calls for service during this time.
