WSP Detectives Seek Witnesses to Injury Hit and Run Collision on Highway 2

The Washington State Patrol’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating an injury hit and run collision that occurred on August 31, 2015 at approximately 5:30 AM.

  The collision occurred on westbound Highway 2 near MP 1 on the trestle.  An unknown vehicle made contact with a Mazda MXR, causing the Mazda to lose control and roll over.  The female victim suffered serious injuries.

Detectives are seeking witnesses to the collision or any events leading up to it.  If you witnessed anything, or know someone who has information, you are asked to call Detective Kevin Nelson at (360) 654-1143.
