Trooper Rescue Injured Owl

Tumwater, WA- Troopers from The Washington State Patrol rescued an injured owl from the shoulder of SB I-5 near milepost 103 in Tumwater in Thurston County  on November 18th, 2015.

Troopers said the owl appeared to be injured after possibly being struck by a vehicle in the area.

Troopers stood watch over the owl until a wildlife rescue groups could pick up the animal and take it to be rehabilitated.
