A Death Request Shows the Heart and Reach of Our Community

On Tuesday, December 8th, we received a request on social media from one of our followers. Here was her request:

Calling All Photographers: There is a request in the community for some help, here it is: I have a bit if a strange request.
I am looking for anyone that is willing to take a photo of today’s sunset. It’s become tradition in my family that on the day you lose someone to take a picture of the sunset on their passing to remember them by. Well today we lost my grandfather Wally and my father is worried he won’t get a good photo because of the weather. If you happen to look up at the right time, please snap a shot and (or post it to our page) message it to me so I can give them to my father.
Thank you,
Alyssa Walla

Thanks to our heartfelt followers, she got some great shots of the sunset to pass along to her family! The surprising thing to us was where they came from…
