King County, WA: The Washington State Patrol responded to a two car fatality crash on State Route 2 near Skykomish.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, Bailey Hall, 21 of Bothell was Eastbound State Route 2 in a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, when she crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Mazda CX9, driven by Lincoln Bennette, 28 of Everett. The driver of the Tahoe was injured and transported to Evergreen Hospital. The driver of the Mazda was not injured.
The press memo states that a passenger in the Tahoe, Elizabeth Breysse, 20 of Bothell died in the crash.
A passenger in the Mazda, Jonathan Bennette, 30 of Vancouver was injured in the crash and transported to Evergreen Hospital.
The press memo states all 4 occupants were wearing their seat belts and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
