Burlington, Wa: The Burlington Park and Recreation director, Loren Cavanaugh sent out an email update today in reference to the October 28th, 2015 public meeting on security camera and lighting upgrades for Maiben Park in the City of Burlington, WA. Here are the updates:
- Permits have been obtained
- Trenching for electric and fiber is scheduled for January 19th. Portions of Maiben Park will be closed for Utility work.
- Area Lighting has been ordered and is on it’s way.
- The City has hired an electrician who has been working on all of the exterior lighting on the buildings. These lights are being converted to LED lighting.
- Camera’s are confirmed as to the type of equipment being ordered.
There will be a couple more neighborhood meetings throughout the year to gather community input for future improvements for 2017.
