MOUNT VERNON, WA- The Washington State Patrol responded to a hit and run collision on Westbound SR20 at Farm to Market Road around 10:55 pm on February 11th, 2016.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 61 year old Patricia White of Mount Vernon was walking across State Route 20 from Farm to Market Road when she was struck by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and the driver fled the scene.
The woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by Airlift Northwest where her condition is unknown.
The press memo states drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash and the cause of the crash is listed as under investigation.
Charges against the hit and run driver are expected once they are identified.
