Sedro Woolley, Washington– Firefighters and Paramedics respond along with the Sedro Woolley Police Department to reports of a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of State Route 20 around 3 pm today.
Several Skagit Breaking Viewers reported “crime scene” tape in the area and were concerned about what was happening.
According to Sergeant McIlraith with the Sedro Woolley Police Department, the Officers were responding to a reported suicide attempt and the police tape was set up so the scene could be investigated by Law Enforcement once the subject was confirmed deceased.
No additional Information will be released on the situation due to the sensitive nature of the incident.
