Skagit County, Washington– Firefighters and emergency medical personnel responded to a truck vs log truck crash on State Route 20 near Avon Allen Road around 7 am this morning.

According to witnesses on scene, there was think fog in the area at the time of the accident. The driver of the pickup was trapped in the vehicle and firefighters used extrication tools, commonly known as the “jaws of life” to extricate the driver. The drivers condition is unknown.
