OSO, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office major crimes detectives continue their investigation into the disappearance of Patrick Shunn and Monique Patenaude. They have yet to uncover evidence that reveals the current location of either Patrick or his wife. Detectives conducted a search of the couple’s two vehicles today, as well as the area where the vehicles were located.

The Landrover and Jeep belonging to the couple were located on Thursday, April 14th in a remote, wooded area near Oso.
Both vehicles were towed from the area after the search. The vehicles were approximately 200 feet from each other and had extensive damage.

The Arlington couple were reported missing by neighbors on Tuesday afternoon. Patrick Shunn was last seen at his workplace in Kirkland, Wash. on Monday, April 11th, but did not report for work the next day. Monique Patenaude was last seen around 1 p.m. on Monday, April 11th near the couple’s residence.
No suspects have yet to be identified and Major Crimes Unit detectives will continue their search tomorrow.
