Plane Crashes at Skagit Regional Airport

Skagit County, Washington– Emergency personnel responded to the 15000 block of Airport Drive around  7:10 am on April 19th  2016 for reports of a single engine plane that had  crashed.

Two Occupants on Board the plane at the time of the crash  were not injured.

The cause of the crash was being investigated.

On August 20th, 2014,  a similar airplane called  a Piper Cub ground looped the runway in a reported minor crash incident.  A photo of that incident can be found below.
