Sedro Woolley, Washington– The Sedro Woolley Police Department responded to reports of a bicycle theft on March 14th, 2016 on Klinger Street in Sedro Woolley.
The bicycles owner reported to police that her cream colored Huffy Bicycle with antique style rap around handle bars and chrome bumpers, leather seat with matching handlebars had been stolen from her garage on the night of March 13th, 2016. The bicycle has a retail value of around $400.00.
The woman later contacted the Skagit Valley Pawn Company and confirmed her stolen bicycle had been pawned at the store by a Joseph Siders. He was given $60.00 for the bicycle. The woman told detectives that SIDERS, never had permission to use, or sell the bicycle. The pawn shop had already re-sold the bicycle and the new owner’s information was not available.
Mr. Siders was charged with theft in the 3rd degree, and trafficking in stolen property in the 1st degree, which is a felony.
