Mount Vernon, Washington- On Friday, June 10th, 2016 around 7:05 pm, Mount Vernon Police Officers responded to the 600 block of West Division Street for reports of a man with a wound to his neck.
According to Lt. Chris Cammock with the Mount Vernon Police Department, the man was reportedly walking down the street when he collapsed. Police responded and found the man laying on the ground with injuries to his neck.
The injury to the mans neck appeared to be from a knife, however the victim was not very cooperative with police so the details about what exactly occurred are still being investigated.
Police are checking area security cameras and trying to locate any witnesses.
