Burlington, WA- The road to fitness doesn’t stop after Regionals for Sam Kwant. He will be heading to Carson, California in mid-July to compete to claim the title ‘Fittest on Earth’! The local Valley participant finished 4th at the CrossFit Games Northwest Regional Competition and has earned a spot to compete in the Reebok CrossFit Games.
Many of you might have seen this worldwide competition featured on ESPN. This trip to the Games requires not only years of hard training, but it also bears a financial burden. The 20 year old will have to pay for his expenses; airfare, hotel, transportation, fees, supplies, and food.
With that being said, as a community lets back him up and help support him as he represents our Valley. There will be a community event held at Mt Baker CrossFit 1635 S Walnut Street Burlington WA 98233 for Sam. It will be a fun group workout for ALL levels THIS SATURDAY JUNE 25th at 11am! It is a suggested donation plus they will have a raffle with some cool prizes.
Go to the Mount Baker Crossfit gym, have fun, enjoy a workout and help this young man on his way to the CROSSFIT GAMES! Also if you would like to support and cannot make it Saturday, please contact Mt Baker CrossFit and drop off your donation there. Thank you!
There will be a viewing station as well, so no excuse for those want to show their support.
