Mount Vernon Firefighters Respond to Fire at Lorenzo’s Restaurant

Mount Vernon, Washington– Mount Vernon Firefighters were called to the Lorenzo’s Restaurant in the 2100 block of East College Way around 9:00 am this morning for a grease  fire in the building.

According to Mount Vernon Fire Chief Roy Hari, a grease fire in the frying area was extinguished by the automatic fire suppression system in the business.

There were no injuries in the incident and damages were contained to the frying area.
