Burlington, Washington- On Monday, February 29th, Burlington Police Officers contacted EDGAR ROBLES in the 200 block of S. Burlington Blvd.
Officers were advised by dispatch that Mr. Robles had multiple warrants out for his arrest, including driving with license suspended in the 3rd degree out of Mount Vernon Municipal Court, Failure to Appear/Criminal Trespass out of Burlington Municipal Court, and two warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving with License suspended 3rd degree out of the Skagit County District Court.
Officers took Robles into custody and searched his person and several backpacks he was in custody of at the time of his arrest.
Officers found a debit card belonging to another man and a Washington State Driver’s License and a Weisfield Jewelers Credit Card in another mans name. Officers contacted the two men who’s names appeared on the cards and confirmed the items were stolen.
Officers also found a black sticky substance they believed to be heroin on Mr. Robles and a small white plastic tube with brown residue that Officers recognized as a make-shift pipe. Robles admitted to Officers that he used the pipe to smoke Heroin.
Mr. Robles was booked into Skagit County Jail on his outstanding warrants and new charges of Possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property 2nd.
