Three Bow Residents Injured in Crash on Lake Samish Road

Skagit County, Washington– The Washington State Patrol responded to an injury crash in the 300 block of Lake Samish Road around 10:05 am on July 23rd, 2016.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, three occupants were traveling in a maroon 1999 Jeep Cherokee at a high rate of speed in the 300 block of Lake Samish Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed and rolled off the Eastbound shoulder of the road.

The press memo states none of the three occupants were wearing seat belts and at the time of the press memo the State Patrol had not concluded who the driver of the vehicle was. Troopers suspect  drugs or alcohol were  a factor in the crash.

The injured passengers are listed as:  25-year old Lacey Breckenridge of Bow. The press memo states she  was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital.

22-year old Nathan Mationg, of Bow. The press memo states he  was transported by medics to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham.

21-year old Victor Martinez, of Bow. The press memo states he was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.

The jeep was impounded to the Washington State Bullpen.

The Crash remains under investigation and charges are pending against the driver, when that person is determined.
