Whatcom County, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a vehicle crash on Cagey Road at Chief Martin Road in Whatcom County around 11:37 pm on October 22nd, 2016.
According to a press memo from the Washington State patrol, 17 year old Samantha Bob of Bellingham is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while driving a 2007 Toyota Solara Southbound on Chief Martin road when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the corner of Chief Martin Road and Cagey Road.
The memo states her vehicle left the roadway to the South and Struck a tree. Ms. Bob is listed as wearing a seat belt but was injured in the crash and transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham.
The following passengers in her vehicle were also injured and transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The press memo listed speed and driving under the influence and the cause of the crash. Charges against the driver are under investigation.
The vehicle was totaled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol Bullpen.
