Sedro Woolley, WA – The Sedro-Woolley High School (SWHS) is hosting a College & Career Planning Night on Tuesday, October 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the cafeteria.
The event will include a College and Career Fair, along with a pizza dinner and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) filing event.
More than 30 representatives from apprenticeships, local employers, armed forces, as well as community, technical, career and four-year universities will be on hand. These include reps from BTC, CWU, Edmonds Community College, Northwest Washington Electrical Industry J.A.T.C, Everest College, EWU, Fashion Institute of Design, Academy of Interactive Entertainment, Northwest Univeristy, NW Career and Technical Academy, Peace Health United General Medical Center, Perry Tech, PLU, Port of Skagit, Running Start SVC, Senior Parent Group, Skagit Valley College, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Air Force ROTC, U.S. Army, U.S. Army National Guard, U.S. Navy, U.S. Navy ROTC/Marines, UTI, UW Seattle, UW Tacoma, Whitworth University, WSU and WWU.
The FAFSA filing event for High School Seniors will be at 6:30 pm in the library. Students and/or parents can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, with financial aid experts on hand to answer questions.
FAFSA is the financial aid application for any college: community, technical, career and four-year colleges. It is available online at www.FAFSA.gov.

NOTE: Seniors, Be sure to bring your driver’s license, social security card, 2015 Taxes and bank statements to complete your FAFSA.
