Sedro-Woolley, WA – Detectives from the Sedro Woolley Police Department served a search warrant in the 1100 block of 3rd Street in Sedro Woolley around 6:30 am this morning.  This is a residence just North of the Sedro Woolley High School.

The search warrant service is directly related to the Shooting incident  that took place on October 19th, 2016 involving a truck that had a window smashed out before shots were fired near Bennett Road and 3rd Street.

Detectives chose the time for the search warrant for Officer Safety as well as the safety of students at the Sedro-Woolley High School.

The area is safe for students and staff to go to the school but police ask that residents avoid the area during the warrant service  and let Officers conduct their investigation.

Sedro Woolley Police Chief Lin Tucker said three subjects were arrested. One subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was released. Two subjects were arrested in relation to the shooting and booked into the Skagit County Jail.
