Oak Harbor, Washington – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two car crash on State Route 20 at Lunz road around 4:34 am on October 29th, 2016.
According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, 21-year old Jordan Tauber of Oak Harbor was traveling Southbound on State Route 20 in a 2006 Ford F250 Pickup when he crossed the center line and struck a Northbound 2016 Ford Escape being driven by 59-year old Gary Jones of Oak Harbor.
Mr. Jones was seriously injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where his condition is unknown. The causing driver, 21-year old Jordan Tauber was not injured.
Both vehicles were totaled and impounded to the Burlington Washington State Patrol Bullpen.
The cause of the crash is listed as crossing the center line and driving under the influence. Charges of Vehicular assault are pending against Mr. Tauber.
