Clear Lake, WA – Beginning on January 1st, 2017 the Clear Lake recycling and garbage compactor site will have a new operating schedule.
According to a press release from Margo Gillaspy, the Clear Lake facility is currently open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesdays.
Starting in 2017, the site will be closed on Wednesdays and will only be open Friday through Monday from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.
Customers who need to dispose of waste Tuesday through Thursday can take their household garbage, recycling and selected hazardous materials to the Skagit County Recycling and Transfer Station, located at 14104 Ovenell Road in Burlington.
The Clear Lake facility accepts household garbage (at a rate of $6 per 32 gallons), free household recycling, and up to 5 gallons of used motor oil and antifreeze.
