Snohomish County, WA – Detectives from the Arlington and Marysville Police Departments are seeking information on a suspect in a robbery and attempted robbery of two Subway Sandwich Shops that occurred within 20 minutes of each other on December 14th, 2016.
A suspect entered the Smokey Point Subway located in the 16800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard just before 9:50 am on Wednesday December 14th and attempted to rob the restaurant. Video of the incident appears to show the clerk not giving the suspect anything and he left the restaurant on foot. Arlington Police Officers responded to the attempted robbery.

A second Robbery call came into 9-1-1 dispatchers around 20 minutes later at 10:10 am from the Subway Sandwich Shop located in the 17100 block of 27th Avenue NE in Marysville. Officers from the Arlington and Marysville Police Departments responded with Deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office and Troopers from the Washington State Patrol. A K-9 Search of the area was unsuccessful in finding the suspect.

According to the website, Canuid.me, a third Subway in Marysville was robbed on December 9th, possibly by the same suspect.
The suspect is described as a male in his mid 20’s, approximately 6’1″ tall with a slender build. He was said to be wearing all black clothing, black gloves, a black mask and a hooded sweatshirt with the North Face logo on the chest.
