Burlington Man Arrested After Crash in Sedro-Woolley

Sedro Woolley, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash on F and S Grade Road in Sedro-Woolley around 8 p.m. on December 30th, 2016.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 20-year old Rutger Page of Sedro-Woolley had parked his 1995 Jeep Wrangler facing West on F and S Grade Road, assisting a vehicle involved in an unrelated collision.  The driver’s side of the Jeep was over the centerline in the Eastbound Lane according to the Washington State Patrol. As Mr. Page assisted the other vehicle, a blue 2011 Ford F450 Dually Pickup driven by 33-year old Montie Kyle of Burlington was heading Eastbound on F and S Grade Road and struck the Jeep Head-on.

Mr. Page was injured and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon for his injuries.  Mr. Kyle was booked into the Skagit County Jail on an investigative hold for suspicion of Driving under the influence and vehicular assault.

Both vehicles were totaled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol Bullpen in Burlington.

The cause of the crash remains under investigations.
