Alger, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on Southbound I-5 near milepost 236 around 10:57 pm on January 12th, 2017.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 45-year old Michele Smith of Bellingham was traveling Southbound I-5 in a 1999 Daewoo Leganza when her vehicle left the roadway to the right and rolled over. The vehicle came to rest on its top on the right shoulder.
Michelle Smith was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon and then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The cause of the crash is Under Investigation and charges are pending against the driver.
