Early Morning Fire Destroys Home on Kelleher Road

Skagit County, WA – Fire Crews from District 6 Fire and the Alger Fire Department responded  to a fully involved structure fire just South of Old Highway 99 North and Kelleher Road around 7:22 a.m.

Fire units  611, 1421, 1417, B14 and B6 initially responded. Multiple Callers reported a mobile home on fire directly across from the Skagit Humane Society.

The Fire was upgraded to a 2nd alarm shortly after fire crews arrived. 516,  1426, 1811, B18, 5510, 5516, 801, 821 and 826 were all toned for mutual aid.

A Washington State Patrolman on scene said he believed the occupants were out of the home safely.

The Roadway is blocked in the area, so please use alternative routes.
