Edison, WA – The 2017 annual Edison Bird Festival will be held on Sunday, February 26th, 2017. The popular “Chicken Parade” will happen at High Noon in downtown Edison.

The yearly Edison Bird Festival began when local business owners Jim & Lisa Kowalski from Farm to Market Brewery and Wesley Smith & Andrew Vallee from Smith & Vallee wanted to honor the unique birding culture of the valley.

People of all ages gather in downtown Edison wearing chicken costumes and funny chicken hats for the short bird parade.

There are live chickens, horses, antique cars, birds of all shapes and sizes and even chickens riding horses that have made an appearance in previous years.

This is a fun, family friendly event, but don’t be late or you will miss the parade!!! Parking is limited, so park at the Edison Elementary school at 5801 Main Street and walk the short distance to downtown.
Anyone can participate in the parade. Show up 10 minutes prior to the parade on the South End of Town and join in on the FUN!! Dress up the kids, pack up your chickens and come to Edison and have some FUN!
