Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatal rollover crash on Southbound I-5 near milepost 235 in Skagit County around 3:40 a.m. on March 2nd, 2017.
According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, 27-year old Paden Newberry of Arlington was traveling Southbound on I-5 in a silver 1998 Honda CRV near milepost 235 when his vehicle left the roadway to the left and traveled into the median where it rolled, coming to rest on its side.
Mr. Newberry died at the scene. Next of Kin was notified by Trooper Silvertsen and Arlington Chaplain 46.
The press memo states Mr. Newberry was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
