Missing Sedro-Woolley Man Was Murdered

Snohomish County, WA –  The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has ruled the death of a missing Sedro-Woolley man found washed ashore in Stanwood in April as  a homicide.

On February 22nd, 2017,  family members reported 47-year old Carlos Reyes-Rodriguez missing to Law Enforcement.

On April 2nd, 2017, residents walking on Warm Beach  in the 16900 block of Marine Drive in Stanwood reported finding the body of a male washed ashore.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and recovered the unidentified mans remains.

On May 4th, 2017, the Snohomish County Medical Examiners Office confirmed the identity of the body found washed ashore on warm beach as 47-year old Carlos Reyes-Rodriquez of Sedro-Woolley.

On Friday, June 16th, 2017, the Snohomish County Medical Examiners Office ruled that the cause of death of Carlos Reyes-Rodriguez is homicidal violence. The manner of death is Homicide.
