Anacortes Police Seek Information on Man Passing Fraudulent Travelers Checks

Anacortes, WA – The Anacortes Police Department is seeking help from the public to identity a man who has been passing fraudulent $100.00 MasterCard Travelers Checks to local businesses.

On Saturday afternoon at approximately 3 P.M., the man in the photo above  used a fraudulent $100 MasterCard travelers check to purchase items at a local specialty store.

Officers from the Anacortes Police Department took other reports from local specialty and antique shops throughout the week. Most businesses  were targeted the weekend of June 17.

Anacortes Police Officers  would like to speak with the man in the photo about his involvement in the fraudulent purchases.
