5 Injured in Crash on State Route 20 and Baker Lake Road

Skagit County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a High-Risk three vehicle crash around 1:27 p.m. on State Route 20 at Baker Lake Road on June 25th, 2017.

According to a press memo from the Washington State patrol, 29-year old Colby Swanberg of  Burlington was stopped at the intersection of Baker Lake Road and State Route 20 in a blue 1995 Ford Crown Victoria.

28-year old Navneet Chaubey of Seattle was traveling Eastbound on State Route 20 in a grey 2016 Honda Fit when she attempted to turn left onto Baker Lake Road in front of an oncoming Westbound 1999 Honda Accord being driven by 24-year old Amanda Deutsch of Rockport.  The Honda Fit collided with the  Honda Accord, causing it to roll into the Ford Crown Victoria.

28-year old Navneet Chaubey and two Passengers in her vehicle, 28-year old Tripathi Priyameada of Seattle and 29-year old Pratidha Sing of Seattle were all injured and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. A fourth passenger, 28-year old Navaneet Kumar of Seattle was seriously injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Amanda Deutsch was injured and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Colby Swanberg was not injured in the crash.
