Driver Flees Scene After Running Over Pedestrian in Clear Lake

Clear Lake, WA – The Clear Lake Fire Department and the Washington State Patrol responded to a hit and run crash on Francis Road at Debays Island Road in Clear Lake around 11:25 p.m. on August 17th, 2017.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, an unknown vehicle was traveling Eastbound on Francis Road near Debays Island Road when it struck a Pedestrian.  The Pedestrian, Identified as 30-year old Stephen Silva of Mount Vernon was seriously injured in the incident and was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon before being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The Causing driver fled the scene before fire and police units arrived.
