Motorcyclist Airlifted To Harborview After SR9 Crash

Motorcycle Crash

Snohomish County, WA– The Washington State Patrol responded to single motorcycle crash on Northbound State Route 9 near 216th Street around 7:10 p.m. on October 5th, 2017.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 33-year old Kyle Simpson of Mill Creek was traveling Northbound on State Route 9 on a 2008 Harley Davidson XL1200 Motorcycle when he lost control of the motorcycle and slammed into a concrete divider near 216th Street Southeast.

Mr. Simpson was seriously injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where his condition remains unknown.

Troopers say the cause of the crash is unknown. Mr. Simpson has a valid motorcycle endorsement and was wearing a USDOT compliant helmet at the time of the crash.

The motorcycle was impounded for safe keeping by Dicks Towing.
