Whatcom County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a high risk crash between two tractor trucks on Southbound I-5 near Nulle Road around 2:07 a.m. on November 30th, 2017.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 24-year old Daljit Mundi of Delta, BC was traveling Northbound I-5 in a blue 2016 Volvo Tractor and Box Trailer when he drifted across the median and into the Southbound Lanes of I-5 where he struck a 2007 Volvo Tractor pulling double box trailers. The impact of the crash seriously injured 62-year old Richard Brush of Vancouver, WA. Mr. Brush was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. Mr. Mundi was not injured in the crash.

Both Tractors and trailers were totaled and impounded by Johnsons Towing.

The cause and possible charges in the crash are under investigation.
