WSP Detectives Seek Information On Truck Involved in Fatal Crash

King County, WA– The Washington State Patrol is seeking information on a fatal collision that occurred on Northbound I-5 in the area of Roanoke Street  around 2:06 a.m. on December 10th, 2017.

According to a press release from the Washington State Patrol, Troopers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision in the area of Roanoke Street on Northbound I-05. When Troopers arrived, CPR was already in progress on a 20-year old male.  Medics from the Seattle Fire Department arrived and continued life saving efforts while they transported the patient to Harborview Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.   The male was later identified by Troopers as 20-year old Taylor Hulsey.

According to witnesses, this vehicle was involved in some type of road rage incident prior to the crash. The other vehicle was described as being a red Dodge Ram Pickup with tinted windows.  The passenger in Mr. Hulsey’s vehicle stated the red Dodge Pickup rammed them or make contact with them, which is still under investigation by Detectives. Troopers believe that whether contact was made or not between the two vehicles, the driver of the red Dodge Pickup was aware a collision had occurred and fled the scene.

WSP Detectives are seeking anyone with information in reference to the red Dodge Ram pickup or the events leading up to the fatal incident.
