Cape Horn, WA – The Skagit County Coroner’s Office released the name of the woman who died in a murder-suicide on December 18th, 2017 in the 41000 block of Cape Horn Drive.
According to a media release by the Skagit County Coroner’s Office, 36-year old Michelle Stauffer of Cape Horn died after being shot multiple times by her boyfriend, 36-year old Allen L. Vike Jr..
Deputies say Vike Jr. shot Stauffer inside their residence before he walked outside into the driveway and shot himself. The Coroner said he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Four young kids in the home were told to “run” by Vike Jr. after he shot their mother and they ran to a neighbor’s house where the neighbors called police for help. The children were physically uninjured in the incident.
