Planning and Developing Services Department Hires New Director

Skagit County, WA- Hal H. Hart has been selected by the Skagit County Board of Commissioners as the new Director of the Planning and Developing Services Department.

  Hart has stacked up over 20 years of experience in the field of rural and urban planning. He has served as the Director of the Anchorage, Alaska, Planning Department, Director of Planning and Community Development for the city of Juneau, Alaska, and Director of Planning and Development Services for the city of Woodinville and Whatcom County.

  Hart finished from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Local Government Finance and Economics and from Eastern Washington University with a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Hart is scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan, 29.
