One Injured In Juvenile Shooting in Everett

Everett, WA- A shooting incident in Everett, WA on June 23rd has left one male juvenile hospitalized.

According to a press release from the City of Everett Police Department, on June 23rd around 11:30pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1900 block of 122nd St. SE for reports of a loud party. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined to be primarily juveniles and the event was shut down.

Around approximately 12:45 am, reports of gunfire were received by 911, reported to be taking place at El Capitan Park & Ride. When responding officers arrived, witnesses stated that after leaving the house party, the group of juveniles moved to the location where a fight then broke out, which resulted in multiple gunshots fired.

A 17-year old male was transported by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett for treatment of a gunshot wound. The juvenile’s condition is not known at this time, but injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The shooting is being investigated by the Major Crimes Unit detectives.
