Snohomish County, WA – A non injury crash on Northbound State Route 99 to Southbound State Route 525 closed the on-ramp for several hours on the afternoon of May 17th, 2019 after a Seattle Iron and Metals semi truck and trailer overturned.

According to Trooper Heather Axtman, the non injury collision involved a single semi that tipped over and spilled nearly 100-gallons of Diesel fuel as well as a large amount of scrap metal onto the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation but the semi truck is believed to be the only vehicle involved.
