Bellingham, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a fatal motorcycle crash in the 4500 block of Mosquito Lake Road around 12:17 p.m. on May 19th, 2019.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, a 20-year old female from Bellingham was traveling Northbound on Mosquito Lake Road on a green 2014 Kawasaki EX650FEF Motorcycle when she failed to negotiate a curve and struck a power pole. Troopers say the woman died as a result of the crash.
Troopers say she was wearing a USDOT compliant helmet and had a valid motorcycle endorsement. The cause of the crash is listed as Speed.
The motorcycle was totaled and impounded to Heston Towing for safe keeping.
