Arlington, WA – The Arlington Police Department and Arlington Fire Units responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision with serious injuries on State Route 531 (172nd St NE) near 59th Avenue NE involving an SUV and a motorcycle.

According to a press release from the City of Arlington, the Motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and Arlington Fire has transported the rider to Providence Reginal Medical Center for Treatment.

The Roadway was fully blocked during the investigation. Deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department and Officers from the Lynnwood Police Department assisted with the collision Investigation on scene.

Detectives say alcohol or drugs were not suspected in the crash. Tow arrived on scene around 10:00 a.m. and the roadway reopened around 10:30 a.m.
