Two Woman Injured in Crash on Camano Island

Island County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash on South Camano Drive at Irenella Lane in Camano Island around 8:14 p.m. on September 12th, 2019.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 20-year old Samantha Hallhaught of Camano Island and 69-year old Kyra Hall of Camano Island were both injured in the crash and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash and they are investigating the events that led up to the crash. Troopers were not sure at the time of the press release exactly what led up t0 the crash and could not provide a description of the incident, pending further investigation.

A silver 2001 Honda Civic and a Silver 2010 Toyota Sienna  were both totaled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol Bullpen for further investigation.
