Snohomish County, WA– A traffic HOV lane violation on Northbound Interstate 5 near 112th Street in Everett led to the arrest of the driver and the recovery of over $25,000 in illegal narcotics and cash inside the vehicle.

According to the Washington State Patrol District 7 Public Information Officer Trooper Heather Axtman, the traffic stop was conducted by Washington State Patrol Trooper Rudy and his K-9 Partner, Apollo. The traffic stop led to a drug investigation. During the course of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained to search the vehicle that was stopped for the traffic violation.

The search warrant was served today as part of the investigation and Troopers found over $10,000 in Fentanyl Pills and $15,000 in Heroin in the vehicle along with several thousand dollar in cash.
